Read the Policy Period 2025-2028 here

This category of the Multi-Year Co-creation Scheme is a continuation of track 3 of the Making Culture Together project grant. The Multi-Year Co-creation Scheme: Cross-Sectoral supports institutions committed to active cultural participation, including with regard to social issues. We do this by providing multi-year grants to collaborations between the cultural and social domains, where the aim is to make activities more accessible to people who are less inclined to participate in culture.

Who can apply for a grant?

Are you an institution based in the Kingdom of the Netherlands? Then you are eligible for a grant if:

  • you are a cultural institution collaborating with an institution in the social domain with regard to the activities applied for, or
  • you are an institution in the social domain that collaborates with a cultural institution with regard to the activities applied for.

As an applicant, you have been active in the domain you are applying for, for at least three years. Are you an institution in the social domain and have not previously applied for the Making Culture Together project scheme? Please demonstrate that you previously worked with a cultural institution for at least three years with the aim of lowering barriers for active cultural participation.

What can you apply for?

You can apply for a grant for a multi-year cross-sector collaboration. Your goal in doing so is to make active cultural participation more accessible to a broad, diverse and inclusive participant base. Your application is aimed at working towards and achieving outcomes: what desired effects contribute to your objective, and what steps will you take to achieve them?
In both form and approach, your method and process must serve as an example and source of inspiration for other organisers and participants, offering prospects for continuity of activities, among others, and in this way contribute in the long term to equal opportunities for people who are less inclined to participate in culture. The guiding principle for the collaboration is that it previously led to demonstrable results.
